Convenience receptacles etc for IT office

Do convenience receptacles for a non-dwelling unit (25’Lx10’W ‘IT office’) need to follow the same, six foot rule as dwelling units? Also if the office has a false ceiling (with basket cable tray for drops), does the cabling have to be plenum rated?

Usually a good sign. Another sign it's not a plenum is if there are combustibles in the space.
