So I have an older house that has a fuse box in the basement. There is a more modern 100 amp breaker box outside of the home that feeds this fuse box. I have been updating doors, windows, and other components of the home recently and when I was in the hardware store the other day I came across an indoor 125 amp breaker box on clearance for $5.00 due to the brand no longer being carried at this stores location. I bought the box thinking that even if it doesn't work for me, I would only be out $5.00. So my question is, can I use this 125 amp indoor box to replace the older fuse box in my basement? I'm not at my house right now, so I'm not exactly sure what amp my current fuse box is. I know it has the two main fuses and then I believe it has 6 glass fuses underneath.

Thanks in advance.
