I have BCD used for cooling tower rooftop. The VFDs are not within sight of cooling tower motors so disconnect is provided load side of VFD between the VFD and cooling tower.
Question:
1. Would disconnect on load side of VFD be not in compliance with 430 part X?
2. How would one size breaker line side of VFD in panelboard don’t see in 430 part X?
