Dual rated lugs were used on 750 copper but crimped with a copper lug die instead of the die for the dual rated lug. How bad is this? Obviously it’s not right but will it have a major effect?

It likely displaced too much lug material as the OD of the copper lug would typically be smaller than for an aluminum lug. Without seeing it, I would say, the lug needs to be cut off and replaced using the correct die.
