happy new year

I was doing some research on AL wire and was surprised to find that the CPSC doesn't seem to have a problem with copper clad AL wire. is copper clad AL still being used and is it a problem? Also does anyone know when it was used maybe into the 80s

Nobody has a "problem" with aluminum wire, copper clad or not. Aluminum wire is an accepted NEC wiring method. It must be installed correctly using devices identified for use with aluminum. That aluminum wire was "outlawed" is a myth. It is, was, and probably will be, an accepted wiring method.
