Copper increase

One big box store raised NM cable prices today approximately 30% 14/2 and 12/2. Didn't notice an increase in 14/3.

One contractor had 30K ft sitting in will call at the store.

Anyone else experience this today?

I was at HD today, and price was still same iirc
14/2 - $44
12/2 - $62

I haven't looked lately. Last time I needed 3' of #3, the supply house gave it to me. Tail end I'm sure.

$46 for a roll of 14/2, $72 for a roll of 12/2 at my home depot.

Priced out an underground run today, #6 AL XHHW costs the same as 12 TWHN right now.

Coil of 6-3 NM today $318 Word has it that copper will reach a all time high in 2021 and may break the ceiling in 2022

I am in MA. Pretty much the same prices here as you posted within a $ or two a coil

Yeah, I was shocked to see the $60 price for 14/2 at Menards the other day!
not too long ago the price was $37-$40.
12/2 didn’t seem to increase much by comparison.

Yup. I think 12/2 was about $70.00

I see you are in California. I bet the demand for EVERYTHING goes through the roof out there when everyone starts rebuilding from the fires. Your thoughts?
