I am familiar with the connectorshttp://www.kinginnovation.com/products/alumiconn.html. They are the only connector that is intended for use with AL/AL or AL/CU connections that I am aware of. There is however a method by COPALUM (Tyco) that is a very expensive, its basically a patented hi-press for small AL conductors. Those Ideal #65 Purples are not listed for AL to AL that many unknowingly grab and improperly install.
As far as acceptance.......I agree with 480Sparky, the only one who with an answer that matters in your situation is your AHJ......But we here at the forum accept good questions all the time.....Welcome!
look at his profile ,he is the ahj
I think he is as confused as we are. If he is looking for reason to pass or fail. I would demand a sheet on what they used and see if ul listed as used and installed. Dont like the idea but its out thereWell, if that's the case, we can stretch this thread out to 3 or 4 hundred posts!

What if you have more than two wires and a pigtail? Do you have to cascade them?those things seem pretty big, wouldnt box fill become an issue?
