I’ve recommended that Penetrox E anti-corrosion compound be applied to copper grounding bus bar connections using BURNDY two hole lugs. Construction thinks this is overkill. Thoughts?

i used Pentrix E (gets home before you do) on all wires, lugs, GECs to bus bars, LTMC connector, machine screws…my installs are close to Puget sound with damp salt air. After 35 years I would go back to an earlier install and the LTMC nut was not seized up. WASHDOT requires it in their specs on conduit connections.
Where it really makes a difference is on wire terminations for IEC motor starters.
I carried a squeeze bottle in my tool bag.
It’s only listed for copper to copper connections. It displaces moisture and corrosion.
