M matt n. Member Nov 10, 2006 #1 Just wondering what the appropriate location is for an outlet that feeds a 120 volt, 15 amp hot tub. I haven't seen the cord but I am guessing that it doesn't have a locking type cord cap. Does this mean the outlet has to be 10 feet away?

L lawelectric Member Nov 13, 2006 #4 680-40(A)...a cord no longer than 15 ft. if protected by a gfci.
