hi all, a question came up as to weather a cord and plug(gfci) connected spa needed the supply receptacle to be gfci protected. (indoors)
in art. 680.42- A2 where installed outdoors the gfci conned cord in all u need. does that mean the supply outlet doesnt need to be gfci in art 680.43-A3 for indoor use , that yes u do need a gfci protected supply receptacle
680.43ex talks about cord and plug being ok, BUT not saying it needs to be gfci protected, or do we asume it comes that way only.
why is there a differance for the same spa, still want gfci protection, but it seem you have to gfci it twice for in door, or am i just reading it wrong-------------just looking for a little clarity. thanks joe
