I am working on designing a piece of equipment required to operate in a Class 2, Div. 1 Group "E" area. this piece of equipment is a fixture that will be moved into the area and operated when hazardous dust is present. then when the area is "safe" again it will be moved elsewhere. We have lots of sensors and hydraulic valves that need to be wired into the enclosure. enclosure is cast aluminum, rated specifically for the environment, valves. we will be using a mix of rigid conduit, sealtight conduit and possibly some cord grips. all depending on location of devices in question and ease or ability to route wiring. looking at using killark type cordgrips CG5050s (as an example). any concerns? or things I should watch out for specifically with this wiring setup.
