Trying to find out what is the minimum aloud size of flexible multyconductor cord suplaying portable eqvipment or machinery where in 2008 nec i can find this reference ?

That would be the correct answer IF you are dealing with portable cords over 600 volts (see the header to Part III). You did not mention voltage in your OP.

(you will find jumper is seldom mistaken)
