I have a stupid question and will cut to the chase.
I'm positive that I cannot put an appliance cord through a ceiling tile, but the closest reference I can find is 422.33(A), which refers me to 422.31(A). I have a customer requesting this, but want to line my ducks up before I tell him no. He is objecting to me placing the receptacle flush in the tile.
I swear that used to be in the Code, but I may be wrong...
