Is it legal to install a cord in a plastic raceway as shown in the attached photo? We also have similar installations with extension cords installed this way?
Thanks in advance.

The cleaner install would have been to mount the injector just to the L of power outlet, figure 8 the power zip tie/velcro L/R side of figure 8. Extend the panduit/raceway(I believe) to just above the new injector location. Then notch the raceway above the data outlet for patch cord back to injector. Or the CLEANEST way....pull everything back above grid and mount/attach a baby nema box up top! Just my 2 cents. Hope this helps!

Doesn't matter if that's a listed raceway or not or just clamps or staples Flexible cords and power cords shall not be attached to a surface.

That said, I do it every day...

Actually, that would be code compliant except for attaching the bunched up power cord to the wall.

It sounds like this is a violation as per 400.12.
Uses not permitted......
-Cannot be a substitute for fixed wiring.
-Cords cannot be attached to building surfaces.
-Cords cannot be installed in a raceway.

The best solution is to install the outlet near the device.

Do others agree?
