Hi,
I'm planing on installing a nema 14-50 receptacle for a ev charger.
Just researching and I see this Bryant receptacle which has a max wire size rating of #8 cu and rated at 60 degree C
I'm looking at #6 AL 75 degree @ 50 amps but that is not right with 60c, copper and size
# 8 CU 75 degree is 50 amp but it's not 60 degree
#6 CU is size too large
What wire size and insulation can feed this receptacle? Or should I search for and will be able to find a different receptacle?
Thank you
