I have a 45kva transformer that I am looking to supply from a different panel than it is currently being supplied from. I am wanting to put this transformer on my generator. Currently it is supplied with 480 70amp circuit. I want to move the supply to a panel that is 250' away, can I use 4 guage or will I need 2? Thank you.

For a 250 foot run of #4 copper wire and a three phase, 480 volt, 70 amp circuit, I calculation a voltage drop of 2%. That seems fine to me.
