General, round numbers will do for me. How much extra does it cost for an electrical installation to done per CID2 methods, rather than for a non-hazardous area?
New facility. It has a 20x20 work room. Receptacles on walls and on a work bench that also includes a 240 volt special purpose outlet. Overhead lights, wall light switch, and hardwired fire alarm horn/strobe. Everything in conduit. The room has no business being treated under Article 500, but someone wants that anyway.
Would, for example, a $10,000 job become a $15,000 or even higher job? Also, would there be higher costs for maintenance?
