cost per square foot of electrical site

I been using the square foot cost for my estimate as per the RSmean. However, how do I calculate the cost per square feet of the site plan work? (Utilities, lighting, etc)
do I actually need a take off?

yes, thats what i always do, and I cant recommend using the average per sq ft for anything except residential
