Hey. I'm redoing my electrical and I've noticed I don't need the neutral coming from the electrical company? The house is fine without it and the voltage drops a bit. From 235 to 228 without neutral. I have an APC UPS unit which is currently alerting me of a ground system failure which I've never seen before and am on lookout for this. I wanted to ask before I start ripping every outlet out
Edit: thanks to the ones who helped rather than attacked for my choice of fixing the issue myself. Turns out one of the house circuits has neutral tied to ground. Not sure where but will figure out this afternoon.
Edit2: yes I've hired multiple electricians, but they've done horrid work. "It just works" "oh that doesn't matter", there's been at least 3 (with me) and who knows how many prior to. So I'm going to go after this on my own.

Sorry but this site is for professionals only. There are diy electrical sites on the net.
