I installed some cove lighting in a new house about a year ago. Seagull Ambiance system.

Many of the lamps, 10 watt xenon, are out. The customer does not want to keep buying and replacing lamps.

I'm thinking about maybe an LED replacement but my concern is light appearance. I want to be close to the look of the xenon light output.

Any suggestions?

I recently installed some LED "tape" lights. Basically a 3/8" wide strip with an LED about every inch and tape on the back. Nice product. Only real issue was that the light is a blueish color. Not really going to look anything like the xenon.

Seagull has LED heads that can be used on the Ambiance LX track. They are availible in 2 different color temps : 2700k and 4500k.
You'll have to change the transformer to a LED Driver, also.

Progress lighting also carries an LED head that will snap into the 10 Seagull Bayonette base lampholders.
I don't know if they have different colors availible. But the last time I installed them, they were more yellow light, not white.
