Crimp on EGC in j box on roof

Inspector wants crimp on our #10 EGC in J box on array. I haven't done so ever.
(DC system, Solaredge)

Your opinions, new Code, other?

(years ago we had combined EGC/GEC on roof for Enphase systems - but no longer)
