CRM For Disconnect switch

Do we need the Contact resistance measurement for disconnect switch just like we do it for power panel circuit breaker

Why would we need either? I suppose some engineers might ask for the measurements when commissioning a new large system, but for the most part nobody measures contact resistance unless there may be a problem.
