I am trying to decide if any of these words located in my specs directs me to install a output signal to tie into the DDC system (Direct Digital Control) so that the building can monitor electrical consumption. Current Transducer, Voltage Transducer, or Current Sensing Relays. The plans state that the electrical consumption shall be monitored, but what too? Do any of these words sound like anything that would send an output signal?
 
Transducers send signals (typically 0-10VDC or 4-20mA), relays simply close a set of contacts.

Yes those words (tranducer and relay) not only sound like but are the words that describe devices that measure current or voltage in this case and produce an output signal, usually a low level signal.
