We wired up a 600A CT Can today, and the neutral was isolated from the factory. Is this common? I can't remember running across this before, and that kinda scares me.

I wouldn't make a fuss, but it seems like it's going to be a PITA to get the can bonded with a 2/0 CU with the limited space available on the neutral bar inside the CT can. I don't understand why the neutral would be isolated on a CT Can...?

We have run into this before, so we bonded in the disconnect and used bonding bushings on the conduit to a installed lug on the CT can but if you used PVC its a problem, but I don't see a problem running a bond to the disconnect?

I've never seen a CT can that didn't have a floating neutral. It's SOP to take a bond wire from the neutral buss to a lug on the can.
