Many thanks to all on this forum for giving me the education needed over the past several years, to give me the confidence to take and pass the CT Masters exam.

If you can handle Mike Holt's practice exams, you'll have no trouble with the Electrical Technical Exam. The PSI questions were by far, much easier. The Business Law Exam took it's toll on my brain, but only because I am nowhere near as versed in that book as I am the NEC.

Two questions that I'm sure I guessed (wrongly):

Where are these in '05 NEC??

Smoke detectors MUST be installed a MINIMUM of ______ from a bathroom doorway.
1. 3 feet
2. 6 feet
3. 8 feet
4. 10 feet

Power-Limited wires MUST be installed a MINIMUM of ______ above floors.
1. 10 feet
2. 12 feet
3. 8 feet
4. 6 feet

I guessed 3 on the smokes and 8 on the PL wires (wires??lol). Oh well, I guess it's really neither here nor there, but I did look and look and look..... til I gave up and guessed.
