Cummins 20KW air cooled generator

I'm hoping I can get some expert help on the control wiring of this particular generator.
I'm in the process of wiring a Cummins 20KW generator.
The underground and conduit runs are complete.
I have all the paper work and have read it but it looks like they are leaving some info out or I'm just overthinking or missing the big Idea.
I'm struggling on understanding the connections between the ATS and the generator, they just don't seem that black and white to me.

Yeah, that’s the downfall with the Onan/Cummins, they went to using a couple different transferswitches, and figuring out the correct diagram is a pain. I wished they had stayed with the plastic enclosures, more room to work on them, and much quieter. The last one I installed had the new aluminum enclosure. Almost as loud as a Generac now. It’s been almost a year since I installed that one, so I don’t remember which diagrams could be used. As far as I know, they have had no issues with it.

I was beginning to think they sent the wrong switch, as none of the model numbers matched up, but finally found it buried online. Can’t remember what site it was.

The last Cummins I wired was years ago.

No load shed, If I remember correctly just one 20amp 120 volt line for battery charger/ utility power sensor.
