IM looking at a current 77 bender and a greenlee 555 bender new what do you think of current tools ?

I had a job where I was dedicated to a site for their electrical maintenance contract another job ramped up elsewhere and they took my triple nickel while it was slow and replaced it with an older Current when I needed a bender back. I didn't notice a difference. I didn't use the guide on the bender to set the angle of bend anyway I was using a magnetic angle protractor for most stuff so at that point it was just bending an angle on the conduit. I believe it used the greenlee shoes too.

Cliff's notes: I didn't notice a substantial difference between the two.

I too have used both to great extent. Can't recommend one over the other, but the triple nickel is tops based simply on tradition (i.e. more well known)

PS: When I first read your thread title I was thinking "Hey man, I use wire to bend current!"
