I have a cutler hammer HVX9000 with a nuisance temperature trip. I found on here someone having similar problem but the thread is closed and i cant comment there.

I see you can set the cooling fans on when 480 is applied to drive or to only turn on when drive is running. I would like to chance to fans on with drive running .

I cannot locate that parameter anywhere in the manual ,
any assistance would be helpful

Why would you think that having the fans run LESS will solve a problem with over heating?

I would be looking for fans that are NOT running now and are supposed to be. That's a common problem with the Eaton drives (and the actual mfr, Vacon). On larger drives, they use 230V fans because in Europe, they always have 230V from Phase to Neutral. But we don't, so what they did was put two 230V fans in SERIES and connected them to 480V. Stupidest thing I have ever seen... At one point Eaton came out with a retrofit kit that
