Damp Location Wiring

As per the 2011 NEC are there special wiring methods required for Damp location,
314.15 talks about wet location wiring methods need to be rated for wet locations
and 110.28 I do not see where it talks about damp locations.

The type of cable or wire articles tells whether you can use a product in a damp location. For instance nm cable cannot be used in damp location.

Individual conductors are listed in Table 310.104

And then sections 404 & 406 tell you what type of boxes switches and receptacles need to be installed in. Does a weather proof box need a compression connector to make it weatherproof? I need to look into that more.
