Ok, so I was installing a gfi in an outdoor box w/ an outdoor in-use cover, all of which I had ordered from a local respectable supply house, when I notice a small sticker on the GFI (leviton btw) : Not to be used in wet or damp conditions. In wet or damp conditions use a suitably rated device.

1) Isn't that arguably what a gfi is for ? I know, there are other conditions, but...

2) If I try to follow that mfr. guideline in that warning, can I consider my outdoor box w/ bubble cover not damp or wet conditions ? It's not wet outside unless it rains, and even then you have that nice cover....

3) I called supply house and said I ordered outdoor boxes, receptacles, and covers and told them about sticker. They told me this was the 1st they had heard this.
