I have a danfoss MIDI VLT which drives a conveyor. When the conveyor is turned on the danfoss drive automatically runs at 28hz in auto. I can easily put the drive into hand mode and change the frequency but as soon as I go back to auto the vfd goes back to 28 Hz. I've looked through all parameters but cannot figure out how to set and save a new frequency in auto. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Is it looking for an external. Source for speed reference while in auto. A 4-20 signal?

That would be my guess. Either an external analog signal, or a parameter value via communications from somewhere. You need to look at how the remote speed command source is programmed.
