Designed replacement for one that had similar outcome several years ago.
Primary fuses replaced with EMT. Underground utility locater (backhoe) found 200 amp feeder to the welding shop. Big holes in the bus bar from the arc.

That's the problem when you use the wrong size EMT ! :D

there should be a table !

I was under the impression that utility companies do not use EMT for primary fuses...I always thought that when changing out their fuses, copper piping was the minimum permitted... :grin:
