I'm looking at a residence that has a 200A feeder from the service in a detached garage. It also has a separate 90A feeder to to the same house from the same detached garage. So 2 separate feeders to 2 separate panels in a house that is in a separate building from the service disconnects in a detached garage.
The code is very clear that according to 225.30 this is a violation since it doesn't meet any special conditions listed in 225.30(A).
My question is what is the reason for single supplies for separate buildings? What is the danger?
