Where do they require this sticker now ?
Is it still just commercial.
Or residential like apartments.
I know some equipment comes with it already on.

I knew they we're required for commercial in 05,
I thought they also might want them in residential multi family in 08.
Some eqipment is marked from the factory. I have some that are not.
My supply house is ussually out of the stickers. They must only order a couple at a time.

Electrical equipment, such as switchboards, panelboards, industrial control panels, meter socket enclosures, and motor control centers, that are in other than dwelling occupancies, and are likely to require examination, adjustment, servicing, or maintenance while energized shall be field marked to warn qualified persons of potential electric arc flash hazards. The marking shall be located so as to be clearly visible to qualified persons before examination, adjustment, servicing, or maintenance of the equipment.

If he is qualified why does he need them ? I think someone is in the sticker buisness.Now lets see how we keep the painter from painting them.

I would like to see more stickers to inform you of multiple feeds. The SCADA guys never put labels on! Ouch!
