Any folks out there involved in Data center, IT room designs - power distribution and branch circuiting aspect? Just want to know what specifc rules, restrictions on this type of design...

I would think the fist step is to decide if you want to use Article 645 or not. Better to avoid it if you can.

If you avoid 645, then all else is the same as standard code rules. There are items you typically will do above and beyond the minimum code.
In general, it is somewhat of a different mindset when designing a DC, and I have terrible troubles finding engineers to work for us that can make the leap from schools, interior fitouts and the like.
