As far as the NEC is concerned as many as you can stuff in the pipe.

But I bet typical data standards would hold you back to four cat 6s and just two 90s before a pull point.

thank you iwire. i might as well go 1". should be good. is'nt there a table for that kind of wire ? even though most of it is free air ?

I would do a test in the shop. I know the coatings rub together and make it a pain to pull sometimes.

I conjecture that if the pipe is metalic (conductive or magnetic) that this will modify the impedance of the cable and might possibly degrade performance. That would even apply to a single cable.

But I have not run any experiments to verify this conjecture.
