I am installing a Dayton G73 garage heater. The heater requires 240v 30amp circuit. The heater is rated 208/240v 5000w @20.9amp. I would like to know what gauge wire I should use because the heater will be located 90 to 100 feet away from the electric panel. Can I use 10/3 or should I use 8/3? Will the gauge of wire matter if it is in conduit or not? The heater will be the only device on this circuit. Thank you for your help!
