I've read about 50 posts on grounding, and everyone seems to have a diffrent answer, I'm getting really confused. Here goes.

RG-6 lines from dish to CATV pannel in basement.

Ground line run from dish (Through Walls) to a cold water pipe, and bonded. (to ground dish)

Another ground line run from inside the low volt box (where the RG-6 Ground block will be located) to another cold water pipe, or the grounded electrical subpannel box.

Re: DBS Grounding

I'm downloading them as we speak. However, it seems the more codes I read, the more confused I get.

I was just up at the house in question earlier. I can run a ground wire from teh dish to a cold water pipe, but I have to run that wire inside the walls to do so, and I'm not sure if that is OK.

In the basement, I can run another ground wire through the walls to another cold water pipe (it has a BIg ground wire attached to it going up to the main electrical service).

The other question is if there are multiple dishes on the house, can they share the same ground wire (daisy chain)?
