Hi, It's been a while since I have been here.
A client bought a used wire drawing machine. It consists of 4 125HP DC motors among other loads. Each motor has its own DC drive with its own AC feed. There are molded case circuit breakers inside the drives cabinet doors that disconnect the AC feed. You have to open the doors to get to it. My feeling is this does not meet the controller disconnecting requirements but I need back up. The difference is we will have to set a distribution board ahead of the DC drives with lockable breakers rather that feed directly from a remote board. I am just looking for opinions.
Thanks,
