DC HiPot on Transformer

Hi,

I have a 15kV Transformer and is planning to perform DC HiPot test on the bushings. What is the maximum voltage that can be applied and to what interval as per standards? What results are to be noted down?

Okay, some one else is performing this test but we are asked to review the report. Any advise with proper references is really appreciated

Never seen a spec for DC hipot on bushings, a megger test is done followed by a watts loss test. Bolted connections and the resistance from the ground terminal and the ground system should also be checked. ANSI/NETA testing standards, derived from IEEE standards.

Why are these tests being performed? Have you considered using a certified testing comany to do this? Are they also testing the transformer or just the bushings?
