We have DC UPS A and DC UPS B with each having its individual battery bank. This is parallel redundant DC UPS with the output voltage of 125VDC.
1) Can we parallel this at the Main Panel board? It means we have to run 2 runs of cables from the DC UPS to the Main Panel board. Is there any violation in it according to NEC?
2) Does the main panel board require main breakers? In this case, since 2 Main breakers may be required since it is coming from DC UPS A and DC UPS B. Is it allowed as per NEC?
3) What if we dont provide main breakers in the panel board, instead provide it at the upstream UPS (we have more than 20 numbers of breakers in the panel board). Again is it allowed?
