Hey all,
Simple question.. to size DC wires, do you use the same chart we use to size wiring for AC circuits?.... table 310.16? I have two 80 amps fuses that are feeding a DC powered load... just curious how to size the wiring for this. is it the same chart?

DC heating would only be different in wire sizes so large that skin effect is important. (Where the AC and DC resistances are noticeably different. )
The chart values for 60Hz will be a conservative value for DC, so there is little justification to do engineering calculations.

Yep. Amps is amps.
