Dead Front GFCI

Can you use a 20 amp gfci dead front on a 15 amp circuit? I have one in the truck, and I wasn’t sure if you could use it on a 15 amp circuit fed with #14 nm.
 
I have no idea. I have one, but never used it. So no issues using a 20 amp on a 15 amp circuit as stated earlier
No issue. The 20 amp rating is just the amount of normal pass through current the device will allow and not be damaged.
 
I’d venture to say that even if you found one that SAID it was 15A, it’s really 20A…

A GFCI device like this is not sensing the AMOUNT of current in the circuit, other than to sense that the hot and neutral currents are the same. It is NOT an over current protective device.
