Hey guys I'm doing a hydro vault retro-fit that involves a new distribution for a medium size apartment building.
One task is intercepting the existing single core cables and connecting them to new multi core Teck cables.
This building was built in the 50s (or at least designed in the 50's) and the existing conductors are similar to rw90 with an aluminum armour and a pvc-ish jacket with very little space between the armour and the conductor insulation
I've dealt with a few here and there and they are always a major pain to strip the armour off.
Does anyone have any tips or tricks for stripping this stuff? I've got 60 of them to do it ranging from 2/0-350mcm
