I know I'm over a year behind since these hit the market and I had a little free time this morning, so I clicked a few links and checked them out. I despise the look of flat, decora devices and always opt for old school toggles and what-not. However, looking at these, I think I have a legitimate question. I did search the forum and found two threads and neither touched on the subject and neither are open for new posts.

The entire market push for these is "time savings." If each outlet in a device is wired separately and a person must pigtail double for each device, how is that a time saver? Am I missing a break-a-way tab somewhere? Must an installer put line and neutrals in both holes on each side? I haven't found anything on their website about this. Or, are they internally common and rated so the device can be used as the connection between line and load wires in the box to save the pigtail labor? That would remove the ability to split the two and switch one of the outlets. It just seems like a step back in time to me. I don't see the draw to it yet.
What am I missing?
