Okay I?m having trouble getting my arms around this one. I know that a laundry room has to have one dedicated 20 amp circuit for the washer. And if that laundry room had a receptacle that was for a sink or laundry tub that too would GFI protected and a branch circuit off the dedicated 20 amp or could it be branch circuit from somewhere else?

It can be off a branch circuit from some where else. I don't think it can be off the dedicated 20 for laundry.

You can supply ALL the outlets in the Laundryroom with one circuit. This circuit will have no other outlets. 12/2 20 amp GRI not required unless within 6' of laundry sink.

Cavie is correct. You can put all the recps you want on the 20 amp laundry room circuit. Code requires 1 but allows more as long as they are all in the laundry room, and yes GFCIs are still required near water, even if they are on the laundry circuit.
