(2) Grid tied inverters and associated conduit/fitting mounted on a plywood board in a residence, along with a 100A loadcenter used as a combiner panel. The face of the LC is 8" from the wall it is mounted to...and there is a water line 10" off of the same wall, run on the ceiling above. The face of the inverters(which are listed to be installed outdoors) is 10".
Question:
Does the 'dedicated equipment space' really only apply to panelboards, swithboards, MCC's? Do PV inverters require the same space?
