Do the plugs required for each bay have to be on a separate dedicated circuit per plug or can you run all the bay plugs on one dedicated 20a 120v circuit? I have been doing them as a separate 20a 120v circuit for each bay, but I was told that they could all go one the one dedicated circuit. Need to verify.

Thanks
Joe

Do the plugs...

You mean receptacles?

Garage Branch Circuits. In addition to the number of
branch circuits required by other parts of this section, at least
one 120-volt, 20-ampere branch circuit shall be installed to
supply receptacle outlets in attached garages and in detached
garages with electric power. This circuit shall have no other
outlets.
Exception: This circuit shall be permitted to supply readily accessible
outdoor receptacle outlets.
So, yes, they can all be on one dedicated circuit.

They are not required to be on separate circuits. 210.52 (G) (1) requires at least one in each vehicle bay. 210.11 (C) (4) requires (1) 120-volt 20 amp circuit to supply the garage receptacles. The exception allows you to include readily accessible outdoor receptacles on this circuit as well. So you could have (10) receptacles in the garage if you wanted to on one 20 amp circuit as long as you had at least 1 receptacle for each vehicle bay.
