Can other general purpose loads be fed out of a server room panel? Panel is shunt tripped. I don't see anything that prevent me from doing it but just want to double check with you guys.

Assuming it is a room built under article 645. Yes. see 645.6

I don't see 645.6 affecting the use of panelboard for other stuff. It needs to follow the code.

Funny enough, my guess was that the panelboard and server room were not per 645, so it is just a regular panelboard. I have not needed the leniencies provided by 645 in many years.

Agreed, But since he specifically mentioned a server room and the main was shunt trip I wanted to address article 645 as not being a reason that you couldn't run general use circuits out of it.
 
I can't think of any code that would prevent this.

But don't expect the IT guys to like it.

And you obviously realize that if the panel is shunt tripped, your load goes off too.
