I am trying to find the definition of information technology system equipment to see if I need to apply article 645 for the Lan room. Is security system information technology system? This Lan room has a security system installed in it. If the security system is not information technology system, we don't need to apply article 645 because the room does not meet the definition of ITS room. What do you think? Thanks.

The defintion of "information technology system" is not critical to the application of Article 645. This is an optional article and you are never required to use it. In fact you can only use the provisions of that article if you comply with the requirements found in 645.4.

I agree with Don. In addition, an IT Equipment Room gets defined if the room is compliant with 645.4. Not what type of equipment is in there.
